Jaakko Kalenius

Jaakko Kalenius is an experienced professional in the field of technical support and service management, currently serving as Manager of Aftermarket Solutions DRI & FA at Metso since April 2024. Prior to this role, Kalenius held various positions at Metso Outotec, including Head of Service Support Management and Sales Support Manager, from September 2020 to April 2024. With a history at Outotec from January 2013 to September 2020, Kalenius contributed as a Senior Technical Support Expert and Product Manager, amongst other titles, and was involved in several significant projects across Finland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Congo, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, and China. Earlier experience includes serving as Outokumpu Chrome Maintenance Manager and in various maintenance roles from May 2002 to December 2012, along with a brief tenure as a teacher deputy in mechanical and metal subjects. Kalenius began career as a maintenance trainee at Outokumpu and served in the UN Finnish Peacekeeper force from April 1999 to April 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Technical Science from Kemi-Tornio University of Applied Sciences.
