Javier Escobar Barrera

Javier Escobar Barrera is an experienced professional in the mining and industrial services sector, currently serving as Assistant Manager of Sales Account at Metso since March 2017, managing key accounts including Codelco Norte and Chuquicamata. Javier has held various positions within the company that focus on delivering optimal service and supply of spare parts and equipment in northern Chile, particularly in minerals processing and engineered products. Prior experience includes roles at Metso Outotec, SMEC Asset Management, GSAPGROUP®, Compañía Minera Doña Inés de Collahuasi SCM, and FLSmidth, where Javier contributed significantly to maintenance planning and spare parts management. Javier holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from Universidad Central and a Licentiate in Engineering Sciences from Universidad Arturo Prat.
