Jussi Venäläinen

Jussi Venäläinen is an experienced executive in the filtration business sector, currently serving as Vice President of the Filtration Business Line at Metso since July 2020, where responsibilities include business development, sales support, and global project delivery, managing a team of over 350 professionals with full profit and loss responsibility for a nine-figure annual turnover. Previously, Jussi held the same position at Outotec from June 2010 to July 2020, with additional roles that focused on global technical support strategy and continuous improvement in customer experience. Jussi's career began as a Customer Support Engineer at Larox after completing a BSc in Mechanical Engineering at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Additional educational qualifications include participation in the METSO-INSEAD Strategic Leadership Program and studies in mechatronics and product design.
