Kimberly Caron

Kimberly Caron is a Process Optimization Specialist and Drill and Blast Engineer at Metso since June 2012, specializing in drill and blast optimization for Mine to Mill Projects. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, performing audits, data analysis, blast modeling, technical report writing, and participating in research related to In Pit Crushing & Conveying and High Intensity Selective Blasting. Previously, Kimberly worked as an English Teacher at Irvine English Academy and held mechanical engineering roles at Gonzalez Design Group and Prestressed Systems Inc., where tasks encompassed preparing technical documents for the Department of Defense and generating AutoCAD drawings for structural systems. Kimberly holds a Master of Engineering in Mining from The University of British Columbia and a degree in Mechanical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Windsor, in addition to completing a Blasting Geomechanics Short Course.
