Mikko Rantaharju

Mikko Rantaharju is a highly experienced executive in the field of hydrometallurgy and project management, currently serving as Vice President of Hydrometallurgy at Metso since May 2023, with comprehensive responsibilities for profit and loss, strategy, and technology solutions across various metal and battery chemical sectors. Previously, Mikko held the same title at Metso Outotec from July 2020 to May 2023, leading research and development as well as commercial operations. Mikko's leadership roles extend to serving as Chairman of the Board for Sense4Health Oy and participating on the Supervisory Board of Outotec Turula Oy. With a robust background in engineering and project delivery from organizations such as Outotec and Finnish Defence PowerSystems, Mikko also possesses significant educational qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and advanced leadership training from prestigious institutions.
