Brian Baird

Brian Baird has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Brian is currently working as the VP of Wireless Engineering at MetTel, where they are responsible for the technical vision and execution of cellular programs. Previously, Brian co-founded Expeto Wireless in 2015, a company that offers cloud-based solutions to increase service agility for mobile carriers. Brian also served as a DevOps Evangelist at R2 OpenStack and as an Advisor at OpenGov Gear.

In addition, Brian has taken on various roles in leadership and advisory positions. Brian was a member of the Board of Directors at the Canadian Cloud Council, where they focused on accelerating Canada's cloud industry. Brian also served as the Chair of CSA Canada at the Cloud Security Alliance.
