Joseph B. Caldarone

Joseph B. Caldarone has a diverse and extensive work experience across various companies. Joseph B. started their career at Bell Atlantic Mobile (now VerizonWireless) in 1991, where they held multiple positions, including NOC Manager, Senior Translations Engineer, Field Engineer, and Manager of NOC and Switch & Microwave Engineering. After this, they joined Network Plus, Inc. in 2000 as the Director of Switch Engineering, where they managed Translations, Equipment Engineering, and Network Design Engineering groups.

In 2001, Caldarone joined Covista, Inc. as the Vice President of Engineering & Operations. Joseph B. was responsible for guiding the design and maintenance of the Covista long-distance and ISP network, as well as managing network engineering, provisioning, switch/field operations, NOC, and ISP departments.

From 2003 to 2018, Caldarone worked at IDT Corporation. Joseph B. served as the Director of the Global Network Operations Center (GNOC), where they consolidated four company NOCs into one and implemented an internal trouble ticketing system and network management system. Joseph B. was then promoted to Vice President of Global Network Service, where they managed the operation of GNOC, VoIP Product Operations, and Service Management Center. Finally, they became the Vice President of Enterprise Services, guiding the day-to-day operation of the Global Network Operations Center, IT Help Desk, IP PBX Support, Data Center Operations, Physical Security, and Logistics.

In 2018, Caldarone joined MetTel, where they have held various leadership roles. Joseph B. started as the Executive Director of Network Services - Customer Engineering and was later promoted to Vice President of Network Services - Customer Engineering. Joseph B. is accountable for the design, configuration, deployment, and Tier 4 support of SD-WAN, Cloud Firewall, and VoIP solutions. Joseph B.'sspecific vendor experience includes Velocloud SD-WAN, Fortinet Cloud firewalls, and Cisco Broadworks software application platform.

Joseph B. Caldarone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University-Metropolitan Campus, which they obtained in 1991.
