Akash Bhir

Akash Bhir is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc. since November 2016, previously holding the title of Mechanical Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a PV Design Engineer at SolarCity from May 2015 to August 2016, where Akash created photovoltaic designs and ensured project compliance with building regulations, receiving recognition as a Century Club designer for outstanding performance. Akash has also worked as a Mechanical Engineer I at Telephonics Corporation, conducting environmental testing on military equipment, and as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Advanced Testing Technologies Inc., where design support was provided for Air Force projects. Early experiences include roles in facilities management and engineering design projects while studying at Stony Brook University, where Akash earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering.
