Shane Stutchbury is a skilled professional in beam delivery, development, and validation, currently employed at Mevex since January 2019, where expertise includes irradiation system design and the manipulation of radiation fields from e-beam and x-ray systems. Prior experience at Mevex as an Engineering CO-OP Student involved the development of programs for linear electron accelerators and conducting dosimetric experiments. Earlier roles included significant contributions at Kinectrics, where Shane worked on a pilot-scale plant for nuclear waste processing and participated in the Fukushima decontamination strategy, as well as a position at Environment and Climate Change Canada focusing on regulatory reporting tools for the oil and gas sector. Early career experiences also included research irradiation at Nordion. Shane holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
