Joseph Jachinowski

Joseph Jachinowski serves as a prominent business consultant since December 2018 and has held the positions of President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director at Mevion Medical Systems since 2009. Under Joseph's leadership, Mevion has become a global leader in compact proton therapy systems. Previously, Joseph was the Executive Vice President of Product Creation and CEO of Elekta North America from 2005 to 2009, overseeing significant product lines and commercial operations. Joseph founded and led IMPAC Medical Systems from 1990 until its sale in 2005, and earlier managed systems and software engineering at Varian Medical Systems, contributing to the development of the first computer-controlled linear accelerators. Joseph holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University and Washington State University, respectively.
