Marie Michèle joined MEVP in 2022.
With a legal career spanning over 20 years in international financial institutions, in Europe and Middle East, Marie-Michèle’s experience is one of diversity, leadership and knowledge. She is a member of the Beirut Bar Association. She started her career in France and worked at Société Générale and at Amundi (one of the largest Fund Manager worldwide), where she overlooked the international entities and was in charge of drafting and negotiating deals with leading sovereign entities and banks in the Middle East. In 2010, she relocated to Lebanon and joined Bank Audi, working directly with the Senior Executives of the bank and reporting to the Group Chief Legal Counsel. She was in charge of the M&A and cross-border transactions of the Audi Group, the Capital Markets units across the group and oversaw legal departments of the group’s subsidiaries. Under her leadership, the Bank has successfully incorporated an entity in Turkey scoring the first banking license granted to a foreign entity in ten years. Most recently, she was handling Bank Audi’s divestiture from Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and Syria. Moreover, she handles different types of transactions across the corporate law spectrum, including corporate lending, securities laws, derivatives and investment banking matters.
Marie-Michèle holds an MBA from ESA (Lebanon), Masters from Université Saint-Joseph(Lebanon), HEC and La Sorbonne (France).
