Joy U. Kordts

Joy U. Kordts is a seasoned content designer and accessibility advocate with extensive experience in UX writing and design across various organizations. Currently serving as a mentor at adplist.org and a member of D4CR, Kordts also leads the Accessibility Employee Resource Group and works as a content designer at Mews since May 2024. Previously, Kordts held the position of Senior Content Designer at Personio, contributing to the launch of a payroll product, and was the first UX writer at trivago, where responsibilities included developing UX writing practices and training new talent. Kordts's background also includes freelance translation and interpretation, alongside roles in audiovisual translation and language instruction. Kordts holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Philology and Media Studies, a UX Design certification, and a Korean Proficiency Certificate.
