Petr Olmer

Petr Olmer is an accomplished engineering manager and technology leader with extensive experience in the data analytics and software development sectors. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for the Data Platform at Mews since April 2024, Petr previously held a significant advisory role at the University of San Francisco, contributing to the Business Analytics & Information Systems Department from August 2018 to June 2023. With a distinguished tenure at GoodData from May 2008 to April 2023, Petr held multiple senior director positions across sales engineering, product management, and professional services, where notable achievements included the creation of GoodData University and a developer community. Additional leadership includes serving as Board President for San Francisco Parents of Multiples from November 2015 to March 2023 and fulfilling a research role at Charles University Prague. Petr's earlier career includes positions at various organizations such as CERN and Agit AB, showcasing expertise in software development, data engineering, and business intelligence.
