Yovani Jimenez

Yovani Jimenez has extensive experience in educational and community support roles, currently serving as a Job Coach and GED Instructor at the Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF) since August 2017, focusing on client progress in the AB 109 GED/Work Experience Program. Previously, Yovani worked as a Political Organizer for the United Farm Workers, where engagement with community leaders and participation in events were key responsibilities. Additionally, Yovani served as a Tutor at A Tree of Knowledge, helping students overcome academic challenges and develop study skills. Early career experience includes a role as a Wireless Customer Care Support Agent at Xerox Metro Document Center, providing technical assistance to customers. Yovani holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from California State University, Bakersfield, and two Associate degrees from Taft College in Social Science and Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration.
