Carlos R. Buitelaar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, and private equity. Currently serving as Vice President of M&A and Corporate Development at Mexico Telecom Partners since June 2019, Carlos has a strong background from Macquarie Group, where roles included Senior Manager and Vice President, focusing on infrastructure and real asset investment. Notable achievements include the acquisition of a significant telecommunications tower portfolio, contributing to the establishment of MTP as the largest private telecommunication tower company in Mexico. Carlos's earlier experience includes positions at BroadSpan Capital and GPX Enterprises, alongside an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School.
