MEYER BORGMAN JOHNSON
Fred Beukema is a Structural Engineer with extensive experience in various sectors including government, higher education, and commercial projects. Currently employed at Meyer Borgman Johnson since August 2016, Beukema previously worked as a Registered Engineer in the Structural Group at TKDA, managing projects and preparing proposals for diverse clients from May 2008 to July 2016. Experience also includes roles at VAA, LLC as a Project Engineer, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, focusing on structural analysis and fatigue testing. In addition to engineering, Beukema contributed as a teacher at Southwest Community Education and gained experience in the arts at the Brave New Workshop Comedy Theater. Educationally, Beukema earned a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Grinnell College.
