Jay Sarkar

Jay Sarkar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Meyer Jabara Hotels since October 2022, Jay has previously held the same title at StepStone Hospitality from July 2014 to October 2022 and at Alena Hospitality from September 2013 to June 2014. Earlier roles include Regional Controller at Pyramid Hotel Group overseeing properties such as Doubletree Oak Brook – Chicago and Hilton Indianapolis, and Controller at Adam's Mark Hotel. Jay began the career as Assistant Controller at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, following experience as Property Controller at Tollman Hundley Hotels. Jay holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mercy University.
