Lorenda Sumpter is an experienced professional with a diverse background in customer service, interior design, and music. Currently serving as a Piano Specialist at Meyer Music since May 2018, Lorenda previously worked as a Design Specialist at Brown's Furniture, where responsibilities included sales and customer service, and held a role as a Customer Service Representative at Ashley Furniture Homestores. Lorenda's early career featured a position as Director of Operations at KXMS-MSSU, which included hosting a radio show. Educational achievements include a Bachelor’s degree from Missouri Southern State University and training in cosmetology from Colcord School of Cosmetology.

Betty and Ted Meyer may have started Meyer Music in 1966, but music was an important part of their family well before selling their first piano. Today, the Meyer family celebrates generations of music for the home with three locations in Kansas City and a Meyer family member in each store to serve you.
