Jim Rownd

Jim Rownd is a highly experienced legal professional with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, business transactions, contract review and drafting, corporate/business law, and income taxation. Currently serving as a Partner at Meyers, Roman, Friedberg & Lewis since September 2021, Jim has previously held attorney positions at Frantz Ward LLP and Kadish Hinkel & Weibel. Jim's legal career began at Henderson Daily Withrow & DeVoe, and earlier experience includes working as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Company. Jim holds a Master of Laws in Taxation from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, an MBA in Finance from Indiana University Graduate School of Business, a Juris Doctorate from Indiana University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Wittenberg University.
