Mezcal Amarás
Carmen Ortega Casanovas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and creative roles across various organizations. Since 2008, Carmen has served as CEO of Boutique Studio and has held positions such as Director of Creativity at Mezcal Amarás since 2011 and Co-Founder of ODYSYA and igualdades since 2021. Notably, Carmen is a Co-Founder of Promotora Nacional, which encompasses La Lonja MX, ATALAYA, and PUM, starting in 2010. Carmen holds a Licenciatura in Diseño gráfico from Universidad Iberoamericana in Ciudad de México.

MEZCAL AMARÁS is “A project made with love”. Mezcal Amarás was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who slowly immersed themselves in a world that filled them with smells, flavors and traditions and fell in love with, what they think is, the best distillate in the world. They decided to create Amarás, a sustainable project, to share the passion, devotion to the roots of Mexico and share it to the world.
