Olivia Martinez has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Olivia began their career as a Loan Officer at North American Mortgages in 1995 and later joined First Community Mortgage as the SVP-Mortgage Manager in 1999. In 2010, they worked as a Sales Manager/Loan Originator at Universal Lending Corporation. Olivia then moved on to become the Mortgage Manager at Rio Grande Credit Union in 2011, where they were responsible for all aspects of the mortgage department. Olivia joined First Financial Credit Union in 2013, serving as the VP of Residential Lending and later as the VP of Lending. In these roles, they oversaw various lending departments and implemented new financing channels. Olivia joined Bank of the West in 2017 as a Branch Manager before transitioning to MFA Housing New Mexico in 2018. At MFA Housing New Mexico, they served as the Secondary Market Manager and is currently the Director of Secondary Market, responsible for managing and overseeing the secondary market operations.
Olivia Martinez attended the UNM Anderson School of Management from 1979 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Finance. Prior to their time at UNM, Olivia also attended Cibola High School, although specific years and any degrees or fields of study are unknown.

The New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority is a quasi-public entity that provides financing for housing and other related services to low- to moderate-income New Mexicans. As the state’s official housing agency, MFA administers more than than 35 programs that finance housing for the homeless, develop new affordable housing, and help families become first-time homeowners.
