Jennifer Han has extensive experience in legal and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Chief Legal Officer and Head of Global Regulatory Affairs at MFA since May 2006. In this role, Jennifer advocates for the alternative investment industry on legislative matters, provides legal expertise in engagements with key regulators and congressional members, and oversees regulatory reporting for the Board of Directors. Prior to MFA, Jennifer worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Staff Attorney, focusing on compliance inspections and examinations, and held an associate position at Pickard and Djinis LLP. Jennifer holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Cornell University in Government, Economics, and International Relations.
