Cagdas Ozan Ates

Cagdas Ozan Ates has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles within the energy and trading sectors. Cagdas Ozan served as the Chief Commercial Officer and Partner at MFT Energy since May 2020, and previously held the position of CEO and Partner from April 2018 to May 2020. Furthermore, Ates has been the CEO of Ates Invest ApS since December 2007, where they actively invest in start-ups and contributes to their growth. Cagdas Ozan is also a Board Member and investor at introDus, a Pre & Onboarding platform, since November 2017, and helps develop significant growth for the company in international markets. Prior to these roles, Ates was the owner of Ates Consult, a consulting and project management firm specializing in trading areas, from August 2017 to March 2018. Cagdas Ozan also gained extensive experience at Danske Commodities, where they held various leadership positions in power trading and origination from September 2005 to August 2017.

Cagdas Ozan Ates completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at Dokuz Eylul University from 1996 to 2001. Cagdas Ozan then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Finance and International Business from Aarhus University between 2001 and 2004.
