Rebecca Schumacher is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in accounting and management roles. Currently serving as Group Accountant at MG Group since October 2024, Rebecca previously held significant positions at Ryman Healthcare from August 2011 to October 2024, including Operations, Sales and Offices Accounting Lead and Financial Accountant. Earlier experience includes roles at RBS Global Banking & Markets as Management Accountant for Legal & Marketing Decision Support and Total COO Consolidation and Decision Support, as well as serving as SSL Group Accountant at Sainsbury’s and Finance Manager/Project Accountant at Ryman Healthcare. Rebecca began a career at Deloitte as an Audit Senior from February 2003 to February 2006. Educational qualifications include a BA/BCom with a focus on Japanese and Accounting from the University of Otago, and a Bursary in Accounting and Japanese from James Hargest High School.
