Massimo Tosato

Massimo Tosato joined M&G plc as an Independent Non-executive Director and Chairman of M&G Group Ltd in April 2020. Massimo has more than thirty years’ experience as an investment banking and asset management entrepreneur and senior manager. His career has included 21 years at Schroders, where he served most recently as Chief Executive of Schroder Investment Management Limited and Executive Vice Chairman of Schroders plc. He has also held Board positions at Nutmeg, an online discretionary investment management start-up, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, and served as Vice President of the European Fund and Asset Management Association (EFAMA). He is currently Non-executive Director of Banca Intermobiliare and serves on the Board of Overseers of Columbia Business School in New York and, until 31 March 2020, he was also Non-executive Director of Pictet Asset Management in Geneva.
