Matt Howells

Matt joined M&G plc as the Chief of Staff in September 2019 and since then has also taken on the People and Corporate Affairs functions making him Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer in January 2022.

Matt was previously Managing Director for the Later Life Planning and Legal Services at the Co-op and prior to that the Managing Director for Barclays Secured Lending and the COO for the Retail Bank’s Global HR Operations. Earlier in his career Matt worked with a variety of FTSE Financial Services organisations working on transformation, change and integration with Accenture.
