Sarah Hughes

Sarah Hughes is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in fund financial reporting and audit. Currently serving as the Head of Fund Financial Reporting Oversight at M&G Investments since November 2017, Sarah has held progressive roles in fund technical and accounting advisory. Prior to joining M&G Investments, Sarah spent over 16 years at EY, where responsibilities included external auditing for UK regulated funds and asset managers, as well as internal auditing and SOX audits. Sarah possesses expertise in IA SORP, UK GAAP, IFRS, and FRS 102, along with experience in FCA Client Asset audits. Sarah holds a BSc (Hons) in Rural and Environmental Economics from Newcastle University.
