Richard Grad

Senior Vice President, Global Head Of Litigation at MGA Entertainment

Richard Grad is Senior Vice President and Global Head of Litigation at MGA Entertainment, where he manages litigation worldwide, including copyright, trademark, patent, product liability, and complex litigation. He advises the CEO, board, and senior leadership regarding legal, operational, and risk management issues. He previously served as head of litigation worldwide for GE Aerospace. Before joining GE, Richard was a senior partner at the law firm Sidley Austin LLP, where he co-chaired the firm's financial services/class action litigation group. Richard is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California.

Richard holds an Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership from USC, an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, a J.D. from Northeastern University, and a B.A. from UCLA, where he graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa.

Richard has a long history of involvement in charitable, arts, and public interest organizations, including serving on the boards at Public Counsel, MOCA, Los Angeles, CalArts, the Make a Wish Foundation, the Cincinnati Art Museum, REDCAT, and the Boys and Girls Clubs. Richard is also involved in Angel Flight, a national non-profit organization of aircraft owners and pilots that provides medical patients with free air transportation nationwide.
