Samuel Reed

Samuel Reed has worked in various roles since 2008. Samuel began their career as Retail Staff at Pacific Dreams Surf Store in 2008. In 2013, they took on the role of Mechanical Engineer Undergraduate at PORT WARATAH COAL SERVICES. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Consultant at EVC Engineers and a Research Associate at the University of Newcastle. Since 2020, they have held the role of Research Engineer at MGA Thermal and Research Associate at the University of Newcastle. Additionally, they worked as a Waiter/Barman at Matilda Bay Brewhouse from 2016 to 2020.

Samuel Reed completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle between 2011 and 2015. Samuel then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, which they completed in 2021.
