Dave Miller

Dave Miller has extensive work experience in the construction and financial management industry. Dave currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at MGC Contractors since April 2021. Before joining MGC Contractors, Dave was the CFO at Benson Systems - Building Technologies Solutions Provider from August 2020 to April 2021. Prior to that, they had a long tenure as the CFO at Jokake Construction from December 2001 to July 2020.

Alongside their professional roles, Dave has also been actively involved in industry associations and community organizations. Dave served as a Committee Member at the Construction Financial Management Association from April 2017 to March 2020. Dave also held the position of Past President at Valley of the Sun CFMA from April 2014 to March 2015. Additionally, they contributed to the Valley of the Sun YMCA as a Board of Directors Member from October 2011 to November 2014.

Before their career in the construction industry, Dave gained experience at J Banicki Construction as a Controller from August 1998 to December 2001. Dave's career began at Peter Kiewit Sons, where they worked as an accountant from July 1987 to December 1995. Prior to entering the workforce, they held the position of RA at The University of South Dakota in 1984.

Dave Miller attended the University of South Dakota from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. In 2005, they earned the CCIFP (Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional) certification from ICCIFP. Following that, in 2013, Dave obtained the CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) certification from AFP (Association of Financial Professionals). In 2016, they obtained the CRIS (Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist) certification from IRMI (International Risk Management Institute). Lastly, in August 2023, Dave obtained a Certificate in Business Contracts from Cornell University.
