Allan MacKey

Allan Mackey is an experienced R&D chemist currently employed at Mitsubishi Gas Chemical America since May 2018, with expertise in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), formulations, and etching processes. In addition to this role, Allan has served as an R&D technician at MGC Pure Chemicals America, Inc. since September 2017. Previously, Allan worked as a research chemist at Umpqua Research Co. from June 2015 to May 2016, where significant contributions included developing catalysts for NASA's life support systems and designing a brine evaporator prototype. Allan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Southern Oregon University (2011-2015) and an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) in Chemistry from Umpqua Community College (2008-2011).
