Thomas Fields, P.E., LEED AP, HBDP, EBCP has a comprehensive work experience in the engineering field. Thomas currently works at MG Engineering D.P.C. as the Associate Principal and Director of the Long Island Office. Thomas joined the company in 2011 as an Associate and has steadily advanced to their current position. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Project Engineer at FPM Group. Prior to that, they served as an Associate at Lilker Associates from 2006 to 2010. Thomas started their engineering career as a Mechanical Engineer at Kallen & Lemelson, Consulting Engineers from 1999 to 2006. Thomas gained initial experience as an Office Engineer at Walsh Construction Company from 1997 to 1998.

Thomas Fields, P.E., LEED AP, HBDP, EBCP obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Boston University in the years 1995 to 1999. In addition to their education, they have also acquired several certifications throughout their career. Thomas obtained the Professional Engineer certification from the New York State Education Department in December 2003. Furthermore, they are a LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) and holds the High-Performance Building Design Professional (HBDP) certification from ASHRAE, which they obtained in November 2017. Recently, in November 2018, they obtained the Energy Business Certified Professional (EBCP) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers.
