Additionally, Karen worked as Office Support Staff IV at the University of Missouri - St. Louis from February 1994 to April 2017, providing secretarial support to faculty in multiple departments, and as a Secretary in the Human Resource Management Services at Monsanto Company from September 1980 to December 1993, handling payroll and benefits. Karen completed education at Lutheran High School North from 1973 to 1977.
