Miguel Albuquerque e Castro has extensive work experience in the fields of product management, business development, and digital marketing. Miguel is currently the Head of Product at MGID, a native advertising platform, where they lead a team focused on innovation and execution. Prior to this, Miguel worked at Marfeel as an International Business Development Consultant.

Miguel has also held various roles at Microsoft, including Sub-Regional Director for Content Experiences in Search, Ads & News in France and Francophone Africa, Regional Lead for Content Experiences, and Sub-Regional Director for Content Experiences in Brazil and Portugal. Miguel has also served as the Market Director for MSN in Portugal and as a Country Sales Manager for Microsoft Advertising & Online in Portugal.

In addition to their corporate experience, Miguel has lectured at Faculdade de Ciências Humanas - Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Escola Superior de Comunicação Social, teaching courses on digital media, digital marketing, and blended marketing. Earlier in their career, Miguel worked in marketing and business development roles at Media Capital and Sterling Publishing.

Before entering the workforce, Miguel gained research experience as an undergraduate student researcher at Royal Holloway, University of London and completed a summer internship at Portugal Telecom.

Miguel Albuquerque e Castro's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Management from Royal Holloway, University of London from 1999 to 2001.
