Sandra Apolinario is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project and business development within the energy sector. Currently serving as Project Manager and Project and Business Development Manager at MGM Innova since April 2011, Sandra specializes in coordinating carbon projects, energy efficiency initiatives, and greenhouse gas inventories, with a strong understanding of UNFCCC procedures and GHG protocols. Previous roles include Senior Process Engineer at VSE, where Sandra focused on industrial energy generation processes, and Project Manager at Cenbio, overseeing projects that generate electricity from biomass. Additional experience as a Consulting Engineer for the United Nations Development Programme highlights expertise in economic feasibility studies for thermal power plants. Sandra holds a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Energy from the University of São Paulo and an Engineer’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado.
