Cari Smith

Cari Smith, CPP, serves as the Director of Payroll at MGM Resorts International since August 2017, bringing extensive experience in payroll management across various organizations. Previously, Cari held the role of Payroll Manager at 3g Productions and Cabela's from 2016 to 2017 and 2014 to 2016, respectively. Earlier positions include Payroll Tax functions at Bloomin' Brands, Inc., and Payroll Tax Specialist at Atkins, where proficiency in multi-state payroll processes and ADP products was demonstrated. Cari's career began as a Payroll Coordinator at Osceola Regional Hospital, contributing to payroll conversions and day-to-day processing. Educationally, Cari is pursuing studies at the University of Phoenix, holds a Global Payroll Management Certification from the American Payroll Association, and is a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
