Cynthia Vollmer

Cynthia Vollmer is an accomplished technology risk management and security professional with extensive experience in the hospitality sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology Risk Management and Privacy Officer at MGM Resorts International since May 2012, Cynthia has held various key roles including Interim Chief Information Security Officer and Executive Director of IT Security & Compliance Risk Management. Prior to their current position, Cynthia held leadership roles at Las Vegas Sands Corp. and served as IT Compliance Manager at MGM Resorts International. With a strong background in IT security, compliance, and governance, Cynthia began their career as a Senior IT Security Specialist with the Ontario Government. Cynthia holds a Master’s degree in Informatics with a focus on Cyber Security from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Communications and Psychology from York University.
