As MGO Private Wealth’s Chief Operations Officer, Charles Young is a finance executive with an extensive background in public equity investment management, venture capital and private equity. Charles has particular expertise in fundamental analysis, portfolio risk management and international growth equities. He also has multiple years of experience in the development of growth companies and their operations as a venture capitalist and private equity investor.

Before MGO Private Wealth, Charles served as a Portfolio Manager at Columbia Wanger Asset Management for nearly 10 years, where he specialized in managing offshore equity portfolios in Asia, Europe and India, with an emphasis on IT sectors. He also worked as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs, & Co, and Montgomery Securities in their corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions departments.

Charles earned his Master of Business Administration degree at Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering at Stanford University.
