Ahmad Alsawalhi

Ahmad AlSawalhi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations and aerospace affairs. Currently serving as the Director of Global Government and Stakeholder Relations at MGX since January 2025, Ahmad previously held the position of Director of Aerospace Affairs and Director of Special Projects at the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC from September 2021 to January 2025. In these roles, Ahmad focused on strategic initiatives that supported the UAE's space program and fostered key partnerships to enhance US-UAE bilateral relationships. Prior to that, Ahmad worked at Etihad from November 2011 to August 2021, where responsibilities included developing sales and marketing strategies, managing operations and financial performance, and leading partnerships in tourism and affinity marketing. Ahmad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Design Management from the American University of Sharjah, earned between 2007 and 2011.
