Juan Moreno and Saul Hernandez founded MH Civil Constructors, Inc. (MH) in February of 2010. Juan purchased a broken skid loader and concrete forms and Saul put up $10,000 and handled the paperwork and we were in business (well, sort of, less customers, credit with suppliers, and so on). What we lacked, we made up in determination and drive. Today, we self-perform concrete, earthwork, and utilities scopes as general contractors or subcontractors. Our market consists of mostly municipal projects sprinkled with a few private entities. MH is bondable and carries insurances that meet or exceed most project requirements. MH cracked the ENR Texas & Louisiana Top Specialty Contractor rankings in 2013 (#98), 2014 (#90), 2016 (#79) and again in 2017 (#87). As we move forward, MH will continue to compete for larger and more complex projects by retaining the right team. Our goal is to perform for our clients and earn their trust. After all, people will continue to do business with people they like and trust.
