Stephan Groenewald

Stephan Groenewald's work experience includes holding the position of Executive: Head of Compliance, Risk and Legal at MHA Management Holdings starting from July 2020. Stephan is currently also serving as the Executive Head of Compliance, Risk and Legal at Zazu Life, a new long-term insurance brand that aims to revitalize the life insurance industry. Previously, Stephan held various roles at Clientele Limited, including Regulatory Compliance Manager and Supervisor of the Legal Claims External Attorney Portfolio. Stephan has also worked as an Attorney at Andrew Weyers & Associates and as a Candidate Attorney at Bornman Attorneys.

Stephan Groenewald completed their LLB degree in Law from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, which they pursued from 2005 to 2009. During the same period, they also earned a Bcomm (Law) degree in Business/Commerce, General from the same institution.

In 2015, they obtained a Certificate in Compliance Management from the University of Cape Town.

Additionally, Stephan Groenewald was admitted as an attorney by the Law Society of South Africa in March 2011.
