Emily Burleson is a skilled architect with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Project Architect at MHAworks since May 2017. Previously, Emily worked as an Architectural Designer at Niles Bolton Associates from June 2015 to August 2016. Emily completed a Bachelor of Architecture degree at the University of Tennessee College of Architecture and Design, where participation in various internships, including roles at R2R studio, llc, Bradley Ball Architects, T2pm, Limited, and Jollay Design Center, provided a solid foundation in design, project management, and construction documentation.

Founded in 1988 as a solo practice, MHAworks has become a successful design firm that provides architecture and interior design services through our regional offices in Asheville, Durham, and Greenville, North Carolina. Though we have grown significantly over the last three decades, we have not lost sight of our founding principle: developing lasting partnerships through a commitment to excellence in service and design. We offer expertise in the design of multifamily and mixed-use, health care, life science, research and development, state and municipal government, and higher education projects. We also offer special services such as ADA assessments and upgrades; building envelope studies and upgrades; life safety assessments; documentation maintenance; and more.
