Ericka Garcia

Ericka Garcia is currently the Revenue Development Manager at MHP Salud. Ericka has over six years of experience in various positions in the healthcare industry.

Ericka started their career as a Scribe at ProScribe in January 2015. In this role, they were responsible for providing real-time documentation of patient encounters in the emergency department. Ericka then became an Appeals Coordinator at Prime Healthcare in August 2017. In this role, they were responsible for reviewing denials and appeals from insurance companies and taking appropriate actions to resolve them.

Ericka then became a Case Manager III at BCFS Health & Human Services in July 2018. In this role, they were responsible for providing case management services to clients with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses. Ericka then became an Assistant Manager at Dolphin Braces in April 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the office and ensuring that patients received the highest quality of care.

Ericka then became an Internal Compliance Auditor at Coastal, Legacy, and All Seasons in February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for auditing the company’s compliance with federal and state regulations. Ericka then became a Quality Analyst at Valley Baptist Health System in June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for conducting quality assurance audits and providing recommendations for improvement.

Ericka has a passion for helping others and ensuring that they receive the best possible care. Ericka is dedicated to their work and is always looking for ways to improve the quality of care their patients receive.

Ericka Garcia has a Master of Science from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Ericka also has a Bachelor of Health Science Technology from University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
