Nicole Stevenson is the VP of Strategy & Marketing at Flex reporting to the Automotive President and has held this position since 2015. In this role, she leads strategy, M&A, partnerships & investments, product planning, marketing, communications, and market intelligence for the company’s $3B global automotive business segment. Ms. Stevenson joined Flex in 2012 as Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives where she was among a small group responsible for building the operational framework and setting up the longer-term business growth. Many of her projects thus far includes outlining an inorganic growth strategy which resulted in 3 successful multi-million Dollar acquisitions and multiple technology partnerships one of which she serves as a board member.
Ms. Stevenson began her career at AlliedSignal Corporation as an engineer. She spent over fifteen years in a variety of positions at large Tier 1 & 2 automotive suppliers with increasing responsibility in engineering, business development, strategy, and marketing. In her most recent role prior to joining Flex, Ms. Stevenson spent 3+ years at Meritor (a $4B leading Commercial Truck component supplier) initially as Director of Corporate Strategy and then leading the marketing team for the NA Commercial Truck Business Unit.
Ms. Stevenson earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and an MBA from Oakland University with a focus on Entrepreneurship. She has also completed multiple executive education courses including an executive leadership program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB).
