Samantha Fiedler

Samantha Jackson currently serves as the Geographic Information Systems Coordinator for Milwaukee County's Office of Emergency Management, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Samantha worked as a Citizen Engagement Research Assistant with the Smart Cities Initiative at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, focusing on GIS and community readiness for Smart Cities initiatives from January to May 2023. Samantha's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, where research contributions included lab collaboration on larval dragonfly habitat and water quality monitoring in local waterways. Earlier education comprises an Associate's degree in General Studies from Harper College and attendance at Northern Illinois University.
