Ben Horton

Ben Horton is an experienced operations and production manager currently working at MiAlgae, where responsibilities have included overseeing production processes and managing teams since July 2020. Prior to this role, Ben Horton spent eight years at Moredun Scientific, progressing from Technical Officer to Laboratory Manager, focusing on laboratory operations, project management, and adherence to quality standards. Ben Horton also holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Zoology from The University of Edinburgh. Academic interests included research on the zoonotic parasite Giardia duodenalis during the master's program.
