Bala Totapally

Bala Totapally is a highly experienced medical professional serving as the Chief of the Division of Critical Care at Nicklaus Children's Health System since January 2018. With a long tenure at Miami Children's Hospital starting in July 1996, Bala has held roles including Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Intensivist, Interim Director of Medical Education, and Pediatric Critical Care Fellow. In addition to clinical roles, Bala has been a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Florida International University since August 2010.
