Kendra Walker

Kendra Walker is an experienced accountant and educator with a robust background in financial management and compliance. Currently serving as an Accountant at Miami Children's Museum since October 2019, Kendra manages accounts payables, assists with grant funding, prepares financial reports for senior leadership, and ensures compliance with GAAP. In addition, Kendra has been an Adjunct Professor at Miami Dade College since September 2014, teaching Financial and Managerial Accounting. Previous roles include Contracts Compliance Officer at South Florida Workforce Investment Board, where Kendra conducted financial audits and improved business processes, and positions at The SEED School of Miami and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where Kendra gained valuable auditing and operational experience. Kendra holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
