Jessica L. Moyer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. In 2007, they began as a Manufacturing Engineering Co-op at Special Metals. The following year, they held a similar role at MillerCoors. In 2011, they began a long-term position at Xylem, where they have held various roles, including Product Owner, Analytical Applications, Member of the Xylem Geospatial Community of Practice, Volunteer Sustainability Lead for Engineers Without Borders-USA Xylem Chapter, Water Equity Program Manager for Decision Intelligence Solutions R&D, Senior Scientist for the Advanced Technology & Innovation Team, and Associate Scientist for the Advanced Technology & Innovation Team. Jessica L. has also held the roles of Watermark Champion and Watermark Ambassador. In 2022, they will begin a new role as an Engineering Associate at the Miami Conservancy District.

Jessica L. then went to Wright State University from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Environmental Science. Jessica L. continued their studies at Wright State University from 2014 to 2016, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry. Jessica L. is currently enrolled in Purdue University, where they are pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Civil Engineering - Sustainable Water. In October 2020, they obtained a certification in Ecosystem Services: a Method for Sustainable Development from Coursera.
