Sonia Samaroo

Sonia Samaroo serves as the M-DCPS Cisco Networking Academy Director and has been a key contributor to the Miami-Dade County Public Schools since September 2009. In addition to this role, Sonia is the NAF Director of the Academy of Information Technology (AOIT) within the same school district. Previously, Sonia worked as an Educational Specialist for Business and IT Programs at Miami Dade County Public Schools and as a Special Education Teacher for the Archdiocese of New York City from August 1989 to June 1996. Sonia holds a Master's degree in Education from Lehman College and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
